Bladder Infection - Cystitis

Infection or inflammation of the urinary bladder or any part of the urinary system. This results in urge to urinate, blood in urine and burning while urinating.

 Symptoms
  • A strong, persistent urge to urinate
  • Pain and burning when urinating
  • Blood in the urine
  • Passing cloudy or strong smelling urine
  • Bladder pressure and pain that gets worse as the bladder fills up
  • For women, pain in the vulva, vagina, or the area behind the vagina
  • For men, pain in the scrotum, testicles, penis, or the area behind the scrotum
  • Chronic or intermittent pain in the pelvis
  • Pelvic pressure or discomfort

 Root causes

Bacterial Infection (UTI) — Most Common Cause

  • E. coli (from the bowel) causes ~80–90% of infectious cystitis cases.
Bacteria enter the urethra → travel to the bladder → cause inflammation.

Risk Factors for Bacterial Cystitis:

  • Sexual activity
  • Poor hygiene or wiping back-to-front
  • Use of spermicides or diaphragms
  • Catheter use
  • Menopause (less estrogen thins urethral lining)
  • Holding urine too long

  Non-Infectious Cystitis

   Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

  • Also called bladder pain syndrome.
  • Chronic inflammation without infection.
  • Cause unknown, but may involve:
     Autoimmunity
     Nerve dysfunction
     Bladder lining defects
  • Symptoms: urgency, frequency, pelvic pain, pain during sex.

   - Chemical Cystitis

  • Reaction to irritants in hygiene products:
      Bubble baths
      Douches
      Scented soaps
      Laundry detergents

   - Drug-Induced Cystitis

  • Certain medications excreted through urine can irritate the bladder:
      Cyclophosphamide
      Certain chemo drugs

  - Radiation Cystitis

  • Radiation therapy (e.g., for pelvic cancers) can damage the bladder lining.

    - Foreign Bodies

Catheters or retained objects can irritate or introduce bacteria.

 Nutritional Support Items

VERY IMPORTANT:

  • Garlic or Oregano (NS Oregano 2 caps 2-3 times daily): A natural antibiotic and immune enhancer. Take 2 capsules 3 times daily.

In addition you can use the search criteria (Set the type to Item) and add the above listed homeopathics and add E Coli bacteria. Imprint the hold tank into a remedy for the Bladder and also imprint the laser and target the Bladder area.
