Nutritional Support Items

ESSENTIAL:

  • Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) (NS Alpha Lipoic Acid): Has antioxidant properties that protect the liver. Take as directed on label.
  • Beta-1,3-D-glucan (NS Immune Support 2 caps 2-3 times daily OR NS Liver Spleen Kidney 2 caps 2-3 times daily): An excellent antioxidant. Stimulates the activity of macrophages, which surround and digest cellular debris. Take as directed on label.
  • Amino acids (NS Amino Complex 4 caps daily): To supply necessary protein. The liver breaks down protein; amino acids take strain off the liver. Take as directed on label.
  • Glutathione, plus L-arginine, and L-cysteine, and L-methionine: Glutathione protects the liver. L-arginine detoxifies the liver.  L-cysteine and L-methionine detoxify harmful hepatotoxins and protect glutathione. For glutathione, take 500 mg twice daily, on an empty stomach. For L-arginine, take as directed on label. For L-cysteine and L-methionine, take 500 mg each twice daily, on an empty stomach. Take with water or juice. Do not take with milk. Take with 50 mg vitamin B6 and 100 mg vitamin C for better absorption.
  • Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) (NS Cellular Health 2-6 caps daily): A powerful antioxidant that has many positive effects on the body, including protecting the liver.  Take as directed on label.
  • B1 and B12: Powerful liver protectors and potent antioxidants. Take as directed on label.
  • Raw liver extract, or desiccated liver (NS Liver Support 2 caps 2-3 times daily OR NS Liver Spleen Kidney): Promotes liver function. Take either as directed on label.
  • S-adenosyl methionine (SAMe), or trimethylglycine (TMG): Promotes the health of the liver. Caution: Do not use if you have bipolar mood disorder or take prescription antidepressants. Do not give SAMe to a child under twelve. Needed for conversion of harmful homocysteine into methionine, the basis for production of SAMe. For either, take as directed on label.
  • Homeopathic Detox EQ Lymphastat V OR BL VBF Defense: Detox virus

VERY IMPORTANT:

  • Coenzyme Q10 (EQ CoQ10, AI CQ10): Counteracts immunosuppression and enhances tissue oxygenation. For coenzyme Q10, take 60 mg daily.
  • Lecithin granules or capsules: Protects cells of the liver and is a fat mobilizer. Aids in preventing fatty liver. For granules, take 1 tbsp 3 times daily, before meals. For capsules, take 1,200 mg 3 times daily, before meals.
  • Multivitamin and mineral complex (NS Liquid Life, NS Colloidal Minerals Plus) with vitamin B complex,  plus extra vitamin B12, plus choline and inositol (NS Choline & Inositol) : All nutrients are necessary in balance. All B vitamins are absolutely essential for normal liver function, especially vitamin B12 and folic acid. For multivitamin and mineral complex, take as directed on label. For vitamin B complex, take 50–100 mg of each major B vitamin (thiamine and riboflavin) 3 times daily, with meals. Amounts of individual vitamins in a complex will vary. Do not exceed 35 mg niacin, 100 mg vitamin B6, and 1,000 mcg folate daily. For vitamin B12, choline, and inositol, take as directed on label.
  • Superoxide dismutase (SOD) (NS Superoxide Dismutase 2 caps 2-3 times daily): Powerful antioxidants that neutralize damaging superoxide free radicals, improving liver function. For either, take as directed on label.
  • Vitamin C with bioflavonoids (NS Liposomal Vitamin C): A powerful antiviral agent. Studies show improvement quickly with high doses. Take up to 2,000 mg daily and up.
  • Vitamin E (EQ Initial E):  A potent antioxidant. Take 90 mg (200 IU) daily, or 180 mg (400 IU) every other day over the course of one month.

IMPORTANT:

  • Calcium (NS Coral Calcium) and magnesium (NS Magnesium Complex): Essential for blood clotting, which is a problem for people with liver disease. Use chelated forms. Do not use bone meal. For calcium, take 1,500 mg daily. For magnesium, take up to 350 mg daily.
  • Essential fatty acids (EQ Primrose oil 2-6 caps daily, NS Omega Complete 2-4 caps daily) Important sources of essential lipids. To combat inflammation of the liver and lower serum fats. For any, take as directed on label.
  • Multienzyme complex, with betaine hydrochloride (HCl) (NS Digestive Enzymes Plus 2 caps with each meal):  Important for proper digestion. Take as directed on label.

HELPFUL:

  • Maitake extract, or reishi extract, or shiitake extract (NS Immune Support 2 caps 2-3 times daily, NS Liver Spleen and Kidney 2 caps 2-3 times daily): To boost the immune system and fight viral infection. For any, take as directed on label.
  • Raw pancreas glandular (NS Endocrine & Pancreas 2 caps 3 times daily): Aids in digestion and pancreatic function. Take as directed on label.
  • DHEA (AI DHEA): Increases antibody and interleukin-2 formation. Take 50–75 mg daily.

 Reflexology
  • Liver Reflex Point on the Hands: On the palm of the right hand, the liver reflex point is located in the fleshy area between the base of the thumb and the index finger.

  • Enhanced Circulation: Reflexology, through its precise pressure point stimulation, has been associated with improved blood circulation throughout the body. The circulatory system plays a pivotal role in liver health, as it is responsible for transporting nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to the liver while aiding in the removal of metabolic waste and toxins. By enhancing circulation, reflexology supports the liver’s efficiency in processing these vital elements.

  • Stress Reduction: Stress is a ubiquitous companion in today’s fast-paced world, and its impact on liver health should not be underestimated. Chronic stress can lead to the release of stress hormones like cortisol, which can disrupt liver function over time. Reflexology, with its relaxation-inducing techniques, offers a sanctuary of calm amidst the chaos. By reducing stress, it indirectly supports the liver’s ability to function optimally.

  • Pain Management: Liver conditions or discomfort often manifest as abdominal pain or discomfort. Reflexology, with its potential for alleviating pain through the release of endorphins and improved blood flow, can provide relief for individuals experiencing liver-related discomfort. While it doesn’t directly treat the underlying condition, it can enhance one’s overall sense of well-being.

  • Detoxification Support: The liver’s primary role in the body is detoxification, filtering out harmful substances and toxins from the bloodstream. Reflexology’s relaxation-inducing effects, combined with improved circulation, can promote the body’s natural detoxification processes. This, in turn, reduces the burden on the liver and aids in its detoxifying functions.

  • Hormonal Balance: The liver plays a pivotal role in metabolizing hormones, including those related to stress and reproductive health. Reflexology’s potential to balance hormones indirectly benefits the liver by reducing the load of metabolizing excess stress hormones. This can lead to a harmonious hormonal environment within the body

  • Improved Sleep: Quality sleep is crucial for overall health, including liver function. Reflexology’s ability to induce relaxation and reduce stress can contribute to better sleep patterns. Adequate rest ensures the liver has the opportunity to regenerate and perform its functions optimally.

  • Immune System Support: Reflexology’s potential to enhance immune function can indirectly benefit the liver. A robust immune system assists in defending the body against infections and illnesses, reducing the risk of liver-related complications.

  • Balancing Energy Flow: According to reflexology principles, blockages or imbalances in the body’s energy flow can lead to health issues. By stimulating specific reflex points, reflexology aims to restore energy balance. A harmonious energy flow is believed to support overall well-being, including liver health.

 Bio-Energetic Balancing Remedies Suggestions
Run a Liver/GB Scan and review the balancing items.  Use the Search Criteria to add Hepatitis C by setting the Type to Item and in search bar typing Hepatitis and selecting and adding the Hepatitis C signature to the Hold Tank.  Also, add symptoms the client is experiencing by Setting the Type to Description and in the search bar type the symptom (like nausea) and scan and add signatures 3-5 times for each symptom.  Also it is helpful to add the homeopathics listed above using the search criteria feature by setting type to Item and in the search bar type the homeopathic and select and add to the hold tank.  It would also be beneficial to load into a laser and target the liver area with the laser.  (Remember, they need to be on a liver drainage remedy like Nettle, Milk Thistle, Hydrangea etc.)  This is especially beneficial when a client is doing a footbath detox.
