Using the STC Band

The STC (Surrogate Testing Connector) Band was create as an alternative method in surrogate testing with the Qest4 system. Other methods include Surrogate Testing Block, Clearing and using Oneself as Proxy, or Using Wet Paper Towels.

Below are instructions on how to use the STC with the Qest4 system. You can also download a Copy of the Instructions Here

1. Dampen
   Dampen the STC - It must be wet in order to test
2. Place
   Place the STC around electrodes before placing electrodes in the stand -DO NOT PLACE AROUND WIRES
3. Adjust
   Adjust the STC tightly to the electrodes using the black ball attached to the STC.
4. Test
   Once the STC is in place, you may began testing
5. Remove
   After you are finished with testing, remove the STC from the electrodes immediately after. IT WILL RUN YOUR BATTERY DOWN
