Ulcers - Esophageal

Esophageal ulcers form in the esophagus, which is the tube that connects your throat to your stomach.

When the inner lining of the esophagus is damaged, an ulcer will form.

 Symptoms
  • Heartburn
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Chest pain
  • A sensation of food not going down right or getting stuck in your throat
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Excessive saliva

 Root Causes
  • The most common cause of esophageal ulcers is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or acid reflux.
  • This condition occurs when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus. Stomach acid wears away the
  • lining of the esophagus thereby causing ulcers.
Other causes of esophageal ulcers include:
  • Hiatal Hernia (see hiatal hernia article)
  • Frequent vomiting
  • The use of medications that irritate the esophagus. Pill-induced esophagitis may result from prolonged contact of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), bisphosphonates, and some antibiotics (like doxycycline)
  • Infection. Viral, bacterial, and fungal infections, such as candida species, herpes simplex, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and cytomegalovirus, can cause inflammation of the esophagus, especially in immunocompromised individuals prone to opportunistic infections.
  • Caustic Injury (breathing in strong chemicals)
  • Radiation (if the upper part of the body was exposed to radiation for treatment of cancer). This condition is called radiation esophagitis.
  • The consumption of liquids rich in acid, such as caffeinated drinks and alcohol
  • Smoking

Bio-Energetic Balancing Remedies Suggestions

Run an esophagus scan. Look for infections. Digestive disorders not always the culprit. If so, address digestion problems like reflux. Smoking, chemical toxins, medications, excessive alcohol consumption, physical injury, and radiation therapy can be possible causes.

Use the search criteria to add energies for symptoms and also add the above listed homeopathics. Imprint into a correlating homeopathic and you may also imprint into the laser and target the esophagus.

Note: Aloe Vera is very healing for ulcerative conditions. We like Biomega.
